What G-code formats are supported?

The viewer supports standard G-code with G0/G1 moves, M3/M5 pen commands, and Z-axis pen control. Compatible with AxiDraw, GRBL, and most pen plotter outputs.

Does it upload my G-code?

No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your G-code file is never sent to any server.

What do the colors mean?

Purple solid lines are draw moves (pen down). Dashed purple lines are rapid/travel moves (pen up). The dot markers show where the pen lifts and lands.

Can I animate the toolpath?

Yes. Click the Play button to animate the toolpath being drawn in sequence, with real-time progress display.

Is this the same as the SVG to G-code tool?

No. The SVG to G-code tool converts SVG files into G-code. This viewer shows you what any G-code file will draw without needing to run the machine.

How do I zoom and pan?

Use mouse wheel to zoom in/out. Click and drag to pan. Double-click or click Fit View to reset the view.
