❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Which Indian couriers does this tracker directly support?

This tool directly tracks Trackon Courier, Bluedart, India Post, and Shree Maruti Courier via live server-side API — you get a full event timeline instantly. For all other carriers — Delhivery, Ecom Express, Xpressbees, Shadowfax, DTDC, FedEx India, and 17track — it provides one-click pre-filled links so you do not have to retype your AWB number.

Where do I find my AWB or tracking number?

Check the shipping confirmation SMS or email from the seller. It is usually labelled AWB, Tracking ID, Waybill, or Consignment Number. For Meesho, Flipkart, or Amazon orders, open the order details page — the tracking number is shown in the shipping section.

Why does my tracking number show 'not found'?

The number may belong to a different carrier than the one auto-detected. Use the carrier buttons shown after the result to check Delhivery, Xpressbees, Shadowfax and others. Tracking data can also take 4–8 hours to appear after the shipment is first booked.

What do the Trackon shipment status codes mean?

S/MENT BOOKED — registered and awaiting pickup. S/MENT PICKED UP — collected from sender. IN TRANSIT TO [city] — moving toward destination hub. ARRIVED AT DESTINATION — reached the local delivery branch. DELIVERED — successfully handed to the recipient.

How long does courier tracking take to update in India?

Most couriers update tracking within 1–4 hours of each hub scan. The first tracking event after booking can take 4–8 hours. India Post tracking can sometimes take 12–24 hours, especially for Speed Post or registered parcels in remote areas.

What should I do if my shipment shows Return to Origin (RTO)?

Return to Origin (RTO) means delivery failed — usually due to wrong address, recipient unavailability, or refused delivery. Contact the seller immediately to arrange re-delivery or address correction. The seller coordinates with the courier company directly, as most Indian carriers do not allow recipient-initiated delivery changes.

How Indian Courier Tracking Works

Every courier shipment in India gets an Air Waybill (AWB) or tracking number at the time of booking. This number is scanned at each hub and branch as the package moves from origin to destination. The data is uploaded to the carrier's tracking system, usually within 1–4 hours of each scan.

Supported Carriers — Direct Tracking vs. Quick Links

Direct tracking (full event timeline, no extra click): Trackon Courier, Bluedart, India Post, Shree Maruti Courier. Quick links (your AWB pre-filled, opens carrier site): Delhivery, Ecom Express, Xpressbees, Shadowfax, DTDC, FedEx India, 17track.

Why Is My Package Delayed?

Common reasons for delays: public holidays, weather disruptions, address issues (incomplete pincode or landmark), failed delivery attempts (recipient unavailable), or hub congestion during festive seasons. If the status shows "Undelivered" or "Return to Origin", contact the seller to arrange re-delivery or address correction.
