Does it upload my SVG file?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your SVG file is never sent to any server.

How does it handle SVG transforms and groups?

The converter parses all SVG path, line, rect, circle, ellipse, polyline, and polygon elements including nested group transforms.

Why is the Y-axis flipped?

SVG uses Y-down coordinates (top-left is 0,0). Most CNC machines use Y-up (bottom-left is 0,0). The Flip Y option corrects this. Toggle it to match your plotter's coordinate system.

When to use: Fine-tune pen position relative to nozzle. Z offset adds to the Z value in Pen Down/Up commands — use it when drawing on raised surfaces (wood, foam, cardboard) or for Z calibration. Example: material is 10mm thick → set Z offset to +10.
